Health Equity Grant Funded Program

WHO Counseling Services to implement a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment Program for Richmond residents who lack sufficient health insurance to cover necessary SUD services.

Our Substance Use Disorder Program includes:

Group Therapy
Individual Therapy
Care Coordination
Community Linkage

The Treatment Program will focus on the re-entry population that faces barriers in accessing services including insurance, housing, healthcare access, employment, social support, caregiver responsibilities, and mental health.

The re-entry population reports that they have an extensive history of substance abuse with precipitating factors such as trauma, neglect, abuse, co-occurring disorders, and living in high crime areas.
